Knitters Delight
A one-off knitted sample from A Stitch in Time volume 1, knitted with Susan Crawford Coquette 4ply vintage cotton, 100% cotton in the shade Oyster. Knitters Delight features a decorative vertical rib and eyelet lace pattern which is designed to be worn fitted to the body. It then moves into an exquisite lace pattern on both the front and the back of the jumper. It is knitted in separate pieces, including neat set-in sleeves; the pieces are then sewn together. The neck line is finished with an opening to one side with a dainty authentic vintage button and button loop attached.
The sample was knitted to fit 30-34 inch (76-86cm) chest and has a finished chest dimension of 30 and a half (78cm) and a length to underarm of 12 inches (31 cm).
