A one-off knitted sample using the 'Blackberry Stitch Cardigan' 1940s pattern from A Stitch in Time Volume 1 knitted with Excelana Luxury 4ply wool 100% pure new British wool in the shade Dark Mandarin. This fabulous cardigan features rows of blackberry stitch 'bobbles' in vertical rows over the entirety of the cardigan which also features a deep v front perfect for styling with a tea dress or vintage blouse, fastened with three authentic vintage buttons. It is designed to sit on the waist. Knitted by Susan's mother-in-law Dorothy for Susan. The price reflects the considerable number of hours this pattern takes to knit.

The sample was knitted to fit 40inch (101cm) chest and has a finished dimension of 36 inch (92cm) bust and a length to underarm 12 inch (30cm).
