A one-off knitted sample from A Stitch in Time volume 1, knitted with Rowan 4ply Cotton, 100% cotton in the shade Aegean. This stunning two piece swim-suit was originally published in Woman & Home in 1938. The skirt is separate and is removed for swimming and it is finished with a beautiful authentic vintage button. The suit itself is knItted from the shorts up with side seams. A glamorous halter back fastened with two contrasting authentic vintage buttons (matching that of the skirt) gives this swimsuit a very decadent edge. 

The sample was knitted to fit 30-34 inch (76-86 cm) chest and has a finished chest dimension of 24 inches (61 cm) to fit up to 38inch (97cm) hip. The skirt was knitted to fit up to 40inch (102cm) hip and has a finished length of 14 and a half inch (36cm)
