This all-over lacy stitch is counter-balanced with dramatic 'sailor' collar which is gathered at the centre front to be worn with a decorative brooch. The elbow-length puff sleeves are slightly over-sized for further dramatic effect. The top is knitted in flat separate pieces then sewn together.
