Pattern - Tea Garden Dress

[tabblock]
[tab1: The Tea Garden Dress is a spectacular knitted dress pattern with a slightly flared A-line skirt which features an interesting textured stitch pattern suggesting a woven fabric. The skirt transitions smoothly into the body which is worked in alternating stocking stitch and garter stitch stripes. Fastenings are added at one side seam and a diagonal opening is created on the upper front bodice. Matching short sleeves are worked and a hidden pocket and a double thickness Peter Pan collar complete the ensemble.

Tea Garden Dress is knitted using [link: Susan Crawford Fenella = /collections/fenella :link], a 2 ply (Vintage 3 Ply weight yarn), worsted spun for a soft handle. Exquisite for Fair Isle projects as well as textured and lace stitches. Shown here in shades [productlink: Caramel = caramel :productlink] and [productlink: Forget-me-not = fenella-forget-me-not :productlink].

Our model Theodora is shown wearing the first size 76-81cm (30-32in).

The pattern includes instructions for three sizes to fit chest measurements between 76cm (30in) and 112cm (44in) and contains clear written instructions plus a comprehensive schematic diagram and sizing chart. :tab1]
