Yule Yarn Kit

THIS YARN KIT CONTAINS ALL THE BEAUTIFUL HAND-DYED FENELLA YARN YOU NEED TO KNIT YULE. YOU CAN PURCHASE THE PATTERN EITHER AS PART OF THE VINTAGE SHETLAND PROJECT OR AS A SINGLE PDF PATTERN DOWNLOAD OR AS A YARN KIT ONLY

Yule is a classic stranded colourwork sweater with dropped shoulders and ribbed turtle neck collar. Yule is knitted in the round from the bottom up with armhole steeks. It features a beuatiful all-over colourwork design using a myriad of Shetland colourwork motifs and a striking colour combination.

Yule is knitted in Susan Crawford Fenella, 100% British wool, in a 'vintage' 3 ply weight, created to replicate the vintage yarns of yesteryear both in weight and in the range of stunning vintage inspired colours. Yule is knitted uses a beautiful combination of shades, all hand-dyed in-house - Yule, Dolly Blue (Yule), Jonquil, Baked Cherry, Myristica and Chalk.

Choose from a choice of yarn kit sizes, each providing sufficient yarn for the listed pattern sizes. Simply select which kit size you require. See the sizing chart to help you decide which size you require. Please bear in mind that Yule is a close-fitting jumper. If you would like a more relaxed fit, choose the kit for a chest size one or two sizes larger than you would normally select. The same sample is shown in the photographs on two models with the male model illustrating the true vintage fit of the garment.
