Black Narcissus stars Deborah Kerr in this intense psychological drama directed by british director Michael Powell, who also directed The Edge of the World, filmed on the island of Foula off the west coast of Shetland. Powell shot many of the scenes in Black Narcissus against deep purple-black skies and mountains.
